Am I to really believe there is a magical elixir for stretch marks? Alas, probably not. My poor boobies already bear those silvery streaks from that year in 8th or 9th grade when they thought it cute to grow overnight, literally. Sigh. When I found out I was pregnant, I went straight to the store and bought cocoa butter. Unfortunately, the cocoa butter quickly proved to be extremely irritating to my skin (red, raised, and itchy (!) bumps) so I switched to lotions that are formulated with extra moisture for extremely dry skin. Seems to be working great because 24 weeks and 15 lbs later, I’m still stretch mark free. Crossing my fingers and hoping the trend continues.
